Where the data comes from

Live arrivals come from official operator data feeds, including Transport for London (TfL) for the capital. The app shows you the live feed it receives.

Because the underlying positions rely on GPS trackers on the buses, accuracy depends on those trackers working. When a tracker is delayed or faulty, the countdown can be off — this is the source data, not the app. See My bus came earlier or later than predicted for the full explanation, and Missing buses if a stop shows nothing.
