If the app won't open or behaves oddly

General fixes for crashes, blank screens, and freezes — restart, update, reinstall.


If Bus Times crashes, freezes, or shows a blank screen, work through these:

  1. Force close and reopen. Swipe the app away in your device's task switcher, then reopen it.
  2. Restart your phone. Clears temporary glitches.
  3. Update the app. Install the latest version from your app store.
  4. Update your operating system.
  5. Check your connection. See Connection error / no internet.
  6. Reinstall. Delete and reinstall the app. Your saved stops live on the device, so note them first; if you have the ad-free subscription, use Restore Purchase afterwards.
